2021 Memberships

Recognizing the challenges faced by the artistic community due to the novel coronavirus and its impact on our theatres, the ICTA Board of Directors have authorized new membership prices for individuals and theatres:

  • All theatres that held membership in 2020 have been automatically renewed for the 2021 program year, with membership expiring December 31st, 2021. If your theatre did not hold membership in 2020 and would like to join for 2021, please contact our treasurer, Gerard, by emailing him here.
  • Individual Memberships are “Pay what you are able” for 2021. To renew your individual membership for 2021, visit our Membership page, select the Individual Member option, and enter a dollar amount you are able to afford.
  • Business Memberships remain at the $100 level, but if your theatre-related business would like to renew or join and faces hardship, please contact our treasurer to discuss options.

2021 Awards of Excellence

Recognizing the need for safety of our board members, our member theatres, and their patrons, the ICTA Board of Directors has suspended the Awards of Excellence for 2021. We understand that each theatre faces different challenges based on their size, patronage, budget, and facility – which means some theatres may be able to return to production sooner than others. In order to remain equitable to all member theatres and maintain a level field of competition, the Awards of Excellence will be on hold for all of 2021 – which means no submissions for review will be accepted and no reviews will be performed. With the hopeful news of successful vaccines, we hope to return fully to the Awards of Excellence in 2022.
